After working in my solar panel for some time now I am finished. I soldered all the pieces together, then I came to some problems. First, the on of the battery's connecting wires snapped off. Mr. Umekubo soldered that for me. Next, the wires that connected to the USB output kept snapping, so they are smaller due to my many re-solders. Besides those mistakes, the machine works fine. I designed a laser cut case and the solar panel itself is big enough to easily charge my iPad. I am excited to use this project more, and fix the few problems it still has.
Today I was asked to think about what I wanted to do. I immediately thought of two things. The first is a solar powered phone charger. I wanted to have not only an extra reserve battery pack, but a rechargeable one as well. My next idea were two large battle ships which shot laser tag like lasers, disabling the other ship. I realize now that is to hard to accomplish, and I now want to have two small ships, both with infer-red lasers and receptors. I hope I can do both of these projects and that they will turn out how I imagine them.
